LEJOG Day 13 Progress
Day 13 LEJOG - Friday 25th September 2020
The day began with a mild frost but was very sunny and it soon warmed up for one of the most beautiful sections of the LEJOG ride especially from Glencoe to Fort William.
Unfortunately there were so many photo stops that the day ended late and in the dark Following the route in the book proved eventful because the B road mentioned turns into a Forestry Commission track not suitable for road bikes and gated off so that Charlie couldn't follow in the car.
Cycling in the forest in the dark was scary but we finally got through this 7.5 mile section and back onto proper roads into Invergarry.
The stopover was in Drumnaddrochit, about 25 miles away, so we had to have another Chinese!! The rooms at Elmbank were excellent however and after a long day we slept well
